The Curù Wildlife National Refuge and Tortuga Island - Located 7 km south of Paquera, an admirable story of ecological preservation and sustainable farming. There are silent beaches along the seafront and several hiking trails in the seven habitats: deciduous, semi-deciduous, hill forested beach , littoral woodland, mangrove swamp, and lagoon - the only left in the Peninsula . A rich diversity of wildlife includes troops of white-faced capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys, over 222 species of birds, and three types of turtles that use the shore for nesting. The full day tour includes breakfast in Montezuma, transport to the Curù beach, tranfer by boat to Tortuga Island where you will enjoy beautiful snorkeling and seafood lunch on the white sandy beach; on the way back we will visit the Curù park with the expert guides.

The Barra Honda National Park And Caverns - Located in the Guanacaste region, between Nicoya and Liberia , offers adventure and relaxation. The Barra Honda hill hides 60 million years of geological history. It is covered by a grand variety of trees, bushes, flowers and medicinal plants. Many birds (parrots, hummingbirds, wood-peckers) and mammals (coyote, congo monkey and white face monkey) find home and alimentation in this natural environment. The Barra Honda hill is composed of coral reef formations emerged from the sea floor through tectonic faulting. They were formed from calcareous rocks, calcareous shells, algaes, sponges and urchings. Through long geological procedures, the system of caves was created. Cavern vary in depth. It reaches from 21 meters to 125 meters. Full day tour: breakfast in Montezuma, transport to the Park (2,5 hours), vist the caverns, lunch and return at 5pm.

Canopy Montezuma Waterfall, 9 cables, 11 platforms, 1.200 meters over the forest and waterfalls - The tour begins when you board the mini bus that will take you to the first platform located in the hills of Montezuma. After a welcome, you will put on the equipment to travel over the trees in this stunning location. Two expert guides will supervise the all trip to assure your safety.In this system of cables suspended over the forest you will be able to appreciate excellent views of the Pacific Ocean, observe monkeys, birds and the wilderness surrounding the Montezuma river and even see the famous waterfalls and stop for a swim, if you like.

Horseback Ride To The Montezuma Waterfalls - The pick up will be around 8:30 A.M., from the stables and will ride through lush jungle forests, across tropical rivers and verdant valleys. You can take a refreshing swim in a natural pool at the base to the waterfall. The natural beauty of Costa Rica has so much to offer that it would be impossible to take it all in with limited time but your will certainly enjoy the sense of seeing nature face to face and taking home the memories of that encounter. On the way, back you will pass Panic Valley, Tambor and the Whale Bay Trail and can make a stop in Tambor for refreshments. You should bring sun block, sunglasses, a hat, and your camera. Horseback Ride In Montezuma - You will be leaving around 8:30 am. Most of this ride is along the beach and some of it is through the jungle. This tour offers you some of the worlds best beach riding, and will enjoy some of the best scenery and wildlife. You will ride through the Montezuma Absolute Reserve and will be able to make several stops along the way. This reserve contains a moist tropical late secondary forest with trees such as the spiny cedar, wild plum and espave that serves as habitat for howler monkeys, white-tailed deer and margay This protected area is dedicated to the memory of the great Swedish conservationist Nicholas Wessberg. Sunset/Snorkle Tour - We leave via a four-wheel drive vehicle, and travel along country roads to the rugged and wild beaches of Mal País and arrive at San Miguel Wildlife Station. Mal País with its usually large waves is an excellent location for surfing. These white sandy beaches, also offers some of the greatest spots for snorkeling. Reef fish species are a blend of Pacific Coast and Tropical Pacific varieties. Large marine life encountered by divers includes giant manta rays, several species of sharks, turtles, eagle rays, great grouper and whale sharks. Sunset Sailing Tour - Tambor is set in a valley of a large and calm horseshoe bay. Hilltops along each side of the bay resemble the heads of alligators still found in nearby rivers. The captain will sail you along the beaches of Tambor and Bahía Ballena and while you sit back and relax, you are served an ice-cold bottle of sparkling champagne with some exquisite hors d oeuvres. Close your eyes and listen to the sounds of a real mangrove estuary with its lush wildlife while the boat drifts down stream. After enjoying the champagne, you enter the bay once again for a memorable sunset cruise. A bottle of Moet and Chardon Champagne is included in the price. Remember to bring your camera. Boat Tour, Tortuga Island - Leaving in the morning, you will board a boat for a beautiful and memorable trip Tortuga and historical St Lucas Island. As you pass several smaller islands, you will enjoy the view of islands inhabited by large varieties of birds and animals. On Tortuga Island, you will have the opportunity to snorkel the clear waters or venture out on the islands many trails. After leaving Tortuga, you visit the infamous San Lucas Island. This island housed one of the most feared prisons in the Americas and still today, the ruins have stories written in the crumbling walls by prisoners who lived, worked and died there.
